Why we do this work
Southwest Florida is one of the hardest places in the country to keep a home dry. Summer humidity, the rainy season, hurricanes and AC systems that rarely rest all add up. After Hurricane Ian, we watched neighbors pay for mold work that didn’t last because nobody fixed the moisture behind it.
We built Fort Myers Mold Specialists to do it the right way: honest diagnosis, contained removal and a clear record of what was done.
Our standards on every job
1. Find the moisture first
Moisture meters, thermal imaging and a careful walk-through come before any quote. If we can’t find the cause, we keep looking. Otherwise the mold comes back.
2. Independent testing
Florida law (s. 468.8419) keeps the company that tests a property separate from the company that removes mold there. We support that rule. It means the person telling you that you have a problem isn’t the one getting paid to fix it.
3. Containment and clean air
Plastic barriers, negative air pressure and HEPA air scrubbers on every remediation job, so spores stay in the work area and out of the rest of your home.
4. Remove, don’t cover
Moldy drywall and insulation are cut out and bagged. Framing is HEPA-vacuumed and cleaned. We don’t rely on fogging or painting over mold.
5. Dry it and prove it
Materials are dried to normal moisture levels and checked before anything is closed up. Clearance testing is available on every job.

Mold assessment and remediation on areas over 10 square feet are performed by Florida-licensed mold assessors and remediators, as state law requires. Ask for the license number on any job and check it at myfloridalicense.com.
Do you offer free mold inspections?
No. “Free” inspections are usually sales visits from the company that wants the removal job. We keep testing independent so you get an honest answer.
Do you work with insurance?
Yes. We provide the photos, moisture readings and reports adjusters ask for. Coverage depends on your policy.
